Born: John Phillip Baptise, March 14 1931 in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Biggest Hits: A member of The Gateway Quartet, in 1959 “Phil Phillips” wrote ” Sea Of Love ” which became a national hit on Mercury records.

Current Status: Phil lives in Lake Charles Louisiana, and still performs.
